Government Offices use our web mapping software, MapVision , to develop and maintain online eligibility checkers. As the information is provided via a website, potential investors and their advisers are able to assess funding eligibility wherever they have a PC, eliminating the need for staff involvement at the initial enquiry stage.
Benchmarking in local government
Our client, APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) are a third sector organisation working for the local government to spread best practice. They use our mapping software, Prospex, and people classification, P² People & Places to estimate deprivation, compare the performance of local authorities and model geographical variation across the country. Public sector planning
Public sector authorities use our administrative boundary dataset, AdminView, within our mapping software for their public sector planning tasks. AdminView is broken down into output areas, super output areas, wards, local authorities, counties, parliamentary constituencies and Primary Care Trusts, enabling local authorities and government bodies to measure administration units and map catchments accurately.
Manage housing services and assets
Housing Associations use Ordnance Survey’s MasterMap data within the Prospex geographic information system (GIS) to cut the cost of grounds maintenance, reduce the time taken to determine housing indicators and improve the management of resources.
