David Foley has joined Beacon Dodsworth's software development team, taking on the role of keeping Prospex at the technological forefront of market analysis GIS. A graduate of the University Of North Wales, Bangor where he studied marine Biology, David gained his MSc at York University in Biological Computation. He worked as a Programmer and Analyst at Lexicon Marketing Services in Bradford before joining Beacon Dodsworth at the beginning of this year. David has already developed software to customise DVLA data. Chronicle Newspapers are using the software to segment their car owning readers by the age, body type and marque of their vehicle. This gives the group a strong case when selling advertising to the car dealers in the circulation areas of their 32 titles. In addition to the development of the 32 bit version of Prospex, David will be involved with supporting users.
