Used in retail, health and other public sector planning and analysis EDView is a range of all administrative boundaries created by joining tessellated Enumeration District (ED) boundaries. An ED is the smallest unit of census data.   For some marketing and planning applications ED's are the only building blocks fine enough to answer local questions.ED's are derived from census boundaries in England and Wales. 
Using ED's as a base the following boundaries are also available: 
 
Wards   Local Authorities (pre and post reorganisation)    Counties
Standard Economic Regions   Parliamentary Constituencies   Health Authorities
