NAVTEQ data
Beacon Dodsworth are resellers of NAVTEQ digital mapping data. NAVTEQ data can be used in our mapping software, Prospex, or purchased as raw data for you to use for your own mapping needs. NAVTEQ data covers all England, Scotland and Wales, with increasing coverage of Northern Ireland. NAVTEQ street information also includes data for the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man. All packages contain street names.
NAVTEQ street data is available for the whole of the UK, or at regional level in three packages:
Base mapping
This package is made up of NAVTEQ street level road network and also includes features such as railways, urban sprawl, administrative area boundaries, land use features, ferries, toll roads and sign directions.

Standard mapping, with certain points of interest
This package includes all NAVTEQ base mapping features, as well as including hospitals, shopping centres, entertainment areas, business facilities and parks.

Premium mapping, with driver restriction information
This package includes all NAVTEQ base and standard mapping features, as well as including driving manoeuvres, speed data, lane categories, pedestrian crossings, key access information (truck, bus and taxi) and traffic codes.

Integrated Transport Network (ITN)
ITN is a layer of Ordnance Survey’s MasterMap and provides a detailed overview of Great Britain’s transport infrastructure. ITN is currently available as a UK road network data set and as road routing information.

Road Routing Information
Data including the features and functionality required to assist a driver’s choice of route. Includes height and vehicle restrictions, traffic calming, turn restrictions and one-way roads.

OSCAR Traffic-Manager
OSCAR (Ordnance Survey Centre Alignment of Roads) is Ordnance Survey’s vector road network for the UK. OSCAR Traffic-Manager is ideal for those who need to know customer locations, track vehicles or manage freight. It includes all classified roads, minor roads and selected private roads, and is updated every six months.
OSCAR Asset-Manager
OSCAR Asset-Manager gives you the ability to co-ordinate transport and other road services and provides a common and consistent base for the exchange of road related information. It is the most detailed of the OSCAR products.
