Radio Maps online

The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), the body providing impartial and free advice to Commercial Radio advertisers and their agencies, chose Prospex as their in-house mapping system. In practice, RAB exists to guide national advertisers and their agencies towards effective advertising on Commercial Radio. It does this through free consultancy and media planning services, and research into how radio advertising works best, manifested in practical and advisory literature, events, and on the website.

RAB needed to produce comprehensive maps showing the Total Survey Areas (TSA) of UK Commercial radio stations. TSA's are broadcast areas reported to the national radio listening survey RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research). Their website, RAB online, at www.rab.co.uk already includes a function using Prospex with maps of UK FM, AM, Regional and National radio stations.

The Radio Advertising Bureau also commissioned Beacon Dodsworth to design and print the annual radio poster wall maps showing UK radio station TSAs. RAB sent 2000 sets of three poster sized maps to major ad agencies and national advertisers nationwide.
