Extract the file(s) using a utility such as WinZip or WinRAR. The file(s) contain(s) the data in comma delimited plain text format. Open the data in any text editor or import into a word processor, spreadsheet or database.
The file(s) also contain PDF(s) of the table layout specification and lookup file(s) (where appropriate) between the names and codes of the geographical boundary.
The geographical area codes used in the files are Standard Names and Codes for administrative and electoral geographies in the UK (SNAC).
